The New Business Assistance program provides new entrepreneurs, developers and enterprises with the tools needed to launch their business. Qualified applicants may receive up to a total of $1,500 in assistance through the program. Grants include up to $1,500 in computer hardware, $1,000 in software and up to $500 in business license fees. Applicants may apply here from June 3 through 3 p.m. PST on Sept. 4, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements include:
Must have been approved for a new city of Las Vegas business license with an issued date of Jan. 1, 2023 or later, or have a pending city business license application.
Must be physically located within the city of Las Vegas jurisdiction, servicing the city of Las Vegas.
The business must have 10 employees or fewer and the gross revenue of the business must be less than $250,000 annually.
Business owners must not have engaged in or currently be engaged in any illegal activity per local, state, or federal laws or regulations. In all instances, federal laws and regulations take precedence over local or state laws or regulations.
Business owners understand they may be subject to suitability checks (background check).
